Most supernaturals don’t work for The Agency. The Agency only recruit very powerful or very skilled supernaturals.

Usually getting asked to be an agent in the supernatural community is quite the honour!

But yeah, the majority of supernaturals just do ordinary things and blend into human society or stick to the fringes where they won’t be disturbed.

The Agency’s job is to help supernaturals acclimatise and live in this world, and that includes settling them into a life they are comfortable in (some supernaturals can’t cope in human society, so they are helped to settle elsewhere, etc).

Only the select few end up as agents, and even fewer end up as Unit agents.
