How come after the end of book one till the beginning of book two the team didn't see the detective? I mean they are patrolling around town where the detective lives and works. How is it possible that they didn't see the MC? Or is it just that they didn't meet? (Yes, this is what you've done to me, Sera. I sit all day and think of how and why does this or that happen in wayhaven.... And I absolutely love you for it!!!)

Basically, the team and Rebecca were super busy trying to get everything organised so they didn’t have time to meet with the MC.
It was also a story thing, because I really wanted the MC to reunite with Bravo at the same time the player did, instead of saying stuff happened ‘off-screen’ the the player didn’t get to enjoy!
